The most obvious difference between reggae and ska is the tempo. Compared with mainstream reggae music, ska is more upbeat, has a faster pace, but still very danceable. Can I request the band to play my favorite reggae song? Can the guests make requests on the day of the event?
Like most bands, our reggae band has sets of songs that they play at various events. They rehearse for weeks before performing to ensure that they deliver what is expected of them. If there are any songs that you wish to be played at your event, our reggae band can accommodate this but you must let us know in advance so we can prepare.
On the day itself, some musicians may agree to play a requested song but there are no guarantees.
